Before booking

I'm not sure which character to choose! Can I leave this until nearer the time?

Our characters can book up quickly and while we would love to let you choose closer to the date, we may not be able to guarantee that a specific character will be available. What we recommend is when you book, ask for the character you think you are likely to have to guarantee their availability, then closer to the party you can always ask if it's possible to switch.

 

I'm not sure which package length to choose, what's your advice?

What we find best is if your child is very little (3 and under), becomes overwhelmed with characters or a lot of attention, you have other entertainment happening at the same time, or your planning a 1 to 1 visit with your little one and their favourite princess, then 30 minutes is probably the best fit for you. If the princess is your main entertainment or you'd like a little more in your package, then 60 minutes will likely be best.

 

How far in  advance can I book?

We can book up pretty quickly so we recommend that you book around 2 months in advance. That's not to  say that we won't have some last minute availability or cancellations so there's no harm in asking.

 

I have enquired but haven't yet received a reply, how long do replies typically take?

I understand planning a party or event is stressful and you're keen to get organised so I aim to respond as soon as possible but I am also a full time nurse! Therefore, my days can be pretty full. Please allow up to 48 hours (particularly over the weekends when we are out creating magic) for a reply. I typically try respond to enquiries weekday evenings.

 

On the day of your party

I will have other entertainment at the party, is this ok?

Absolutely! All we ask is that you inform us ahead of time just so we know and can plan accordingly.

For example if you have...

- A DJ. We bring our own party speaker (and  microphones if required) to play music themed to your chosen character and need our own music for dancing games etc. We kindly ask that the DJ's music be turned off during our visit.

- A bouncy castle. While we understand that these are so much fun for kiddos, it can be difficult for your performer to try to be heard over the noise and distraction they create, especially during our coronation ceremonies ( a moment not to be missed!). Therefore, we recommend turning the bouncy castle off even for a part of your princess / character visit. We want you and your little one to get the most out of our visits.

- A face painter. Face paint is so much fun for the little ones so sometimes they can become distracted trying to make sure they don't miss their turn! We recommend the kids get picked out one by one for their face paint while the rest enjoy the entertainment we provide.

 

How will I know when the princess / character has arrived?

Your performer(s) will send you a message to let you know that they have arrived and will be with you shortly. Your performer(s) will be in touch to let you know if they are encountering any issues like traffic or are unable to locate you etc. Please allow a 5-10 minute grace period as they may be driving and will be in touch as soon as possible.

 

They have said they are here but I cannot see them?

We try to preserve the magic as much as possible and try our best not to park directly outside your house/venue (a smart car is hardly a carriage!). Therefore, you may have received an arrival message but cannot see them straight away.

 

Can I take pictures and videos?

Of course! We are here to create magical memories and we want these moments to be captured and cherished for years to come. Take as many photos and videos as you like throughout your booking. Please note, we do leave time near the end of your booking for pictures with everyone, just so the entertainment isn't always interrupted.

 

After your party

Can I share my pictures and videos to social media?

Yes please! Be sure to tag us in all of your posts if you'd like you can send us photos and videos too to be posted across Believe & Dream Entertainment's platforms. The more pictures and videos we have from you, the more we grow!

 

Am I able to leave a review?

You absolutely can! We love to receive reviews and you can do this either by leaving a review on our Facebook page, or by sending one across to us (by message or email) and I will share them. As with pictures and videos, the more reviews we have, the more we book which lets us create even more magic!
